Rent a Space

If you have a special community event, gathering, group, or program and need a space to host your event we are always willing to share our home with you. We have a large kitchen area and office space that are always available. Please feel free to contact Candyce Scott to book your event @ 860.325.3119.

The S.U.R.E Program

The SURE PROGRAM’S mission is to provide mentoring and educational services to individuals in every community, race, ethnicity, age, race, religious faith based, and gender to empower every human being in our community. SURE, mentors will provide Career Coaching, Wellness coaching, and life skills to motivate and empower mentees of all ages, race, social economics, and gender, and religious faith. SURE, Programs will also execute professional trainings and community trainings that will enrich parents, mental health providers, youth, and SURE mentors who are providing services. The sure program will empower, motivated, educate, and assist our communities’ youth and families.

New Britian Racial Justice

The New Britain Racial Justice Coalition (NBRJC) is a grassroots organization based in New Britain. The membership is comprised of everyday, working-class people who organized shortly after the murder of George Floyd, to establish opportunities for racial and economic justice. Their key programs are Mutual Aid, political and cultural education, and community organizing.

Angleo Insurance Agency

The Angelo Insurance Agency has operated in New Britain for almost 30 years, and the owner Edward Angelo has actually provided insurance services for over 50 years. They offer a wide range of insurance plans, including life insurance, health insurance, personal auto, commercial auto, commercial property, homeowners, business owners, renters, flood, machinery, travel, general liability, and many others.

Insight of New England Counseling, LLC

Insight of New England Counseling, LLC assists with helping individuals and families gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses and has operated for over three years. Through counseling and evaluation, clients are helped to overcome personal challenges. Scott provides individual counseling, academic recommendations, guidance and support to navigate the educational system, all of which can forge a path to personal and academic success.

Please join us to celebrate Black History and love for our community. A short fashion show performed by the S.U.R.E Program Fashion Group and featuring Gorgy By Candy’s fashion line and the powerful words of Alicia Strong and Michael Angelo.

NAACP

Please join us for fun, free refreshments, and information about joining the NAACP New Britain’s Youth Chapter.

The NAACP’s Youth mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.
